Roosevelt University International Study Centre

The International Study Center is a dedicated facility for international students on the University campus. Located in Roosevelt's Gage Building, a short walk along the Michigan Avenue architectural wall, the ISC offers pathways to a US university degree.

On successful completion of the International Study Center pathway programs, international students can matriculate into a degree in Chicago at Roosevelt University, within the Colleges of Business, Arts and Science, or Professional Studies.

Student services

The Academic Success Center offers academic support services for Roosevelt students. These include tutoring, strategic learning, course-specific study groups, study skill workshops, peer mentoring and services for students with disabilities.

Housing services

Roosevelt University provides plentiful and modern student housing in 2 upscale residence halls, all within easy walking distance of your classes and university facilities.

Library services

Roosevelt University's main library (the Murray-Green Library) is in the Auditorium Building. It provides a wide range of printed and electronic resources, a dedicated staff of professional librarians, and comprehensive research and instruction services to enrich your learning experience:

ICT services

Roosevelt University provides a range of technology-enhanced teaching and learning spaces for use by faculty and students. There are open computer labs are for walk-in use by students, in addition to teaching computer labs. 925 PCs are available for student use.

RUWiFi is the new Roosevelt wireless network, giving 100% coverage in all campus buildings. There is no cost to Roosevelt students for internet access.

Campus life

Located on famous Michigan Avenue, within the "South Loop Educational Corridor" of downtown Chicago, the International Study Center is less that a 10-minute walk from all University facilities.

The 12-story Gage Building that houses the International Study Center is right across the street from Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (known for the famous "Bean" sculpture) and 2 blocks away from historic State Street. Providing easy access to public transportation, the ISC is only a 2-minute walk from the elevated train system, popularly known as the "L".

Sports facilities

Roosevelt University's new state-of-the-art recreation center, the Barry Crown Fitness Center, is free of charge to students. It features:

    aerobic and strength-training machines / circuit machines / free weights, stability balls and jump ropes / fitness studio for group exercise classes


The Roosevelt University International Study Center is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training - ACCET.
