Maryville University was founded as an academy for young women in 1872, by the Religious of the Sacred Heart. Now, as a private, four-year university offering 90 + degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, Maryville still stands firmly on our heritage.
At Maryville University, you can choose from over 90 undergraduate and graduate college majors. During your studies, you’ll actively participate in the learning process by doing, creating and interacting with each other and the innovative environment that surrounds you. With our revolutionary approach to personalized learning, it’s no surprise 97 percent of Maryville graduates obtain a job in their chosen field or attend graduate school within six months of graduating. That’s the Maryville advantage.
