The campus at University of the Sciences comprises 23 buildings located on a 35-acre site in University City. We are situated in a vibrant neighborhood that is home to residents, faculty, and more than 50,000 college students each year. As a founding member of University City District the University works closely with other universities, residents, and community-based organizations in the area.

Leveraging Our Strengths
The changing demands of the healthcare industry are best reflected in the dynamic range of specialized undergraduate programs we offer. Our graduate programs focus in the health and natural sciences while the University provides a strong pre-med, pre-dental, and pre-veterinary focus with degrees in the sciences and health sciences or the first step toward pursuing a PhD and research.
Articulation agreements with other colleges and universities offer a clear path to transfer into USciences programs or reserved seats in medical, dental, and veterinary schools for the next phase of training.
Integrated programs offer students a unique opportunity to pursue their master’s degree as a seamless extension of their undergraduate degree program with as little as one additional year of study depending on program requirements.
A Lasting Legacy
The University has launched the careers of many innovative and pioneering individuals in the field of healthcare, including the founders of six of the world’s pharmaceutical companies. While other alumni have made significant contributions in fields beyond pharmacy, from pioneering the use of X-rays to motor oil additives to rechargeable batteries.
We are the first college of pharmacy in North America (1821) and the birthplace of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the American Journal of Pharmacy, the United States Pharmacopeia, and Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy.
