The Faculty of Law at the UB is a school with a long tradition; its origins go back to 1450 coinciding with the creation of the University of Barcelona. It guarantees more than five hundred years' experience.

At the Faculty there are nearly 400 professors dedicated to teaching and research. Among the professors we find a great professional asset with great institutional projection: members of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the Hague Conference, the highest bodies of Public Administration, etc…

The Faculty of Law at the UB stands for a wide and powerful range of courses with five bachelor´s degrees, three dual degrees, two dual degrees of law at UB-US and a consolidated offer of Master’s degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas.
International mobility and employability of students are two priority issues in the management of the Faculty that besides it develops an intense research activity with 16 established groups, 3 emerging groups, 4 observatories and 2 research institutes.

The community of students of the Faculty is very large adding 8,000 students between undergraduate, graduate and continuing education.
