Study was fantastic but high tuition fees
Everything about study is perfect but too much expense, you will spend 100%
A real sense of communtiy
A close knit university, you get to know everyone really well which is really good during a honours year. The campus is small so it does lack some facilities like other uni's but the academic staff are truly passionate about what they teach and want to really get to know each of their students (you are more than just a number!).
Southern Cross University, the online experience!
I am really enjoying being an SCU student. The teachers are clear and communicate well, assignments are well structured with informative rubrics, and the university makes sure you know all the fun events that are going on. However, I am an online student studying with a science component. This means that I have to make my way to Lismore for a few days to complete science residentials, no matter where in Australia you study. So this can be a little inconvenient depending on where you are located. However, they are building up some labs in the Gold Coast Campus, which is 200m away from the airport, so that will make things easier for people. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and have fast-tracked my degree through online study whilst having plenty of time to work. I feel my classes are very informative and my teachers are knowledgable.
