This summer will be the 9th edition of VU Amsterdam Summer School. Over the years we have welcomed over 1500 students.
Education
The one and two week courses cover multiple themes and are offered by all nine faculties of the university. Bachelor, Master and PhD students as well as professionals are all welcome to apply. From start to finish, we will be here to support you with your course and practical issues such as accommodation. In addition to the course, we offer exciting social activities! Will you join us?

- We offer different accommodation options in different parts of Amsterdam. The accommodation options will be shared on this page in Spring (15 April latest). Registrations will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis (the earliest you apply and pay for your course, the earlier you can select your accommodation preference).
Campus life
VU Amsterdam is a campus university: almost all university buildings are situated on one site, with teaching and research facilities and several leisure activities all together. It is located in the business district of Amsterdam, so that during your studies you can also get a glimpse of the business world.

Student clubs
Sessions
During the month of July we offer one and two week courses. You can follow one course per session!
Session 1: Saturday 1 July to Saturday 15 July
Session 2a: Sunday 16 to Sunday 30 July
Session 2b: Sunday 16 to Sunday 23 July
The dates include arrival and departure days. The courses run from Monday to Friday (some exceptions may occur), weekends are off to relax, explore and for self-study (some exceptions might occur).
