The Master of Architecture is a focused, professional degree and is required to become a practising architect. It is the second of two degrees, undertaken after the successful completion of the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (C10004) or equivalent.
This postgraduate course offers you a range of flexible subject selections and can be completed in two years full-time or four years part-time. You'll acquire valuable, pragmatic insight into the realities of professional practice and develop advanced technical skills through project-based studio experiences.
Choosing your own path, you'll select both core Design Studios and electives that align with your areas of interest and career goals. You'll also have the opportunity to access global exposure through study tours, earning academic credit while you travel.

General requirements
- Completed UTS Bachelor of Design in Architecture, UTS Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Architecture (Architectural Studies for Interior Architecture), or UTS Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Architecture (Architectural Studies for Landscape Architects) with:
- a minimum GPA of 5.5/7, or
- a minimum GPA between 5 and 5.49/7 AND A portfolio AND Design or related experience AND An interest in the course and demonstrated understanding of the opportunities present in the Master of Architecture
- Completed any other Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in Design in Architecture with a minimum GPA of 5/7 AND A portfolio AND Design or related experience AND An interest in the course and demonstrated understanding of the opportunities present in the Master of Architecture
