Description
To support commencing international students who wish to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.
Applicable programmes
Benefits
For students commencing in 2025, UTS will pay for twenty percent (20%) of each Recipient’s UTStuition fees for the course enrolled in for the duration of the Scholarship as defined in clause 4.
For students commencing in 2026, UTS will pay for fifteen percent (15%) of each Recipient’s UTStuition fees for the course enrolled in for the duration of the Scholarship as defined in clause.
The Scholarship cannot be transferred, deferred or redeemed for cash.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
- Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
- Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate (including Honours programs) or postgraduate coursework program; and
- Commence full-time and on campus (Sydney)[1]; and
Must not be:
- Studying a UTS online degree or distance degree; or
- A citizen of a country in the South Asia region; or
- A recipient of other UTS scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship and be a government sponsored student.

UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the course application.
Offers will be authorised by UTS Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions.
