Impact your career and challenge yourself with our 18-month-long Executive MBA, delivered part-time, with sustainability integrated throughout the whole program! The program is given in English in Stockholm, Riga, Singapore, and Silicon Valley. You earn an MBA degree as well as three additional certificates for courses in collaboration with the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education, National University of Singapore and your elective course within the Global Network for Advanced Management.

The SSE MBA Executive Format stands on a general management foundation and consists of theme modules with a collection of courses connected to each theme. In addition, you will be able to personalize your learning with a number of elective courses given at SSE’s campuses and at member schools within the Global Network for Advanced Management. Electives in Nordic Entrepreneurship, Finance, Digital Transformation, Branding, Management and Global Business are among the many courses available to you.

In an era defined by data, our partnership with the Stanford Engineering Center for Global & Online Education (CGOE) will additionally equip you with vital skills in business analytics, machine learning, and AI — empowering you to leverage digital tools for effective decision-making.

Through our MBALive® pedagogy, you will pursue a number of live projects and apply your new knowledge and skills in real organizations to guarantee hands-on learning. You also follow a leadership program with a professional coach, helping you enhance your career progress.

Programme Structure

Throughout 18 months, participants will take part in ten immersive campus weeks, each running from Monday to Friday, adding up to a total of 50 days. Full in-person attendance during the campus weeks is mandatory, including evenings. Between campus weeks, you need to allocate time for self-study, some digital content, and examinations. The program is characterized by its intensity, featuring dynamic elements such as case discussions, interactive lectures, group exercises, and simulations.

To be eligible to the SSE MBA Executive Format, you must meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or higher
A minimum of five years relevant professional experience
A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English A TOEFL or IELTS certificate is required unless English is your native language or you have studied for at least one academic year at university level on a full-time accredited program conducted in English.
