The Stockholm School of Economics opened its doors to its first students for more than 100 years ago, in 1909. In time, SSE outgrew these premises and in 1926 the School moved into newly constructed quarters at Sveavägen 65, the address of the main building to this day. Today the building is flanked by newer buildings and a number of additional premises are located in nearby blocks.

SSE has a small housing office that offers rooms and apartments to some of their international Bachelor, Master and PhD students, incoming exchange students, guest researchers and visitors affiliated with SSE.

The Student Association at the Stockholm School of Economics (SASSE) is an organization with about 2000 members.
The Student Association is a voting member of all decision-making bodies at SSE, from the Board of Directors to the smallest committee.

The overall experience was awful . Master programs are just an extension of undergraduate courses and they focus 99% on theory and 1% in real cases . Partner companies is just a fancy name for marketing and none of those are interesting in hiring from school . The “work” opportunities are unpaid. It is impossible to land a job without the local la gauge although before...
I study in Kenya at the Strathmore University, and in high school I went through the IGCSE and IB curriculum. Due to the IB, I found myself re-learning certain courses which were a bit unnecessary. I have fostered a love for quality work, as I study here; while also developing a love for learning. Studying at home has many advantages as I am close to my family as well....
