Overview
The Master of Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) , consists of three research clusters, where each cluster has its own research areas. At the start of the master you make a choice from one of these clusters.
- Dynamical Systems Design (DSD)
- Computational and Experimental Mechanics (CEM)
- Thermo Fluids Engineering (TFE)
The specialization you choose is an important point of focus in your master's program. At the same time, the program is designed such that you can also deepen your knowledge in other areas. As a Mechanical Engineering student, you have the freedom to design your own study program.
Career
There is a great demand for young, highly trained technicians. Employment has been excellent for years. Most of our graduates quickly find a challenging job with a good salary. Because mechanical engineering is a broad field, you will come across graduates in many different positions and different technical branches. You can work as a technical designer, production engineer, project manager or at engineering firms and research institutes such as TNO. For others, the research in the department turns out to be so interesting that they decide to carry out their own PhD research. Some even start their own company.
