
Overview
The course offers an integrated, international and coherent programme of study that explores the social, historical, cultural and physical contexts of past, present and future cultural sites as well as critical methodologies and professional management skills in finance, law, fund-raising, cultural tourism and project creation and execution. Students explore the role of the art market in creating collections, the roles of curators and national bodies in the maintenance of cultural institutions, the support and promotion of contemporary artists, the relationships between art and cultural institutions with local and global audiences. They examine the practical, legal and ethical implications of business models for art and cultural heritage, and their sustainability within the marketplace, including emerging markets.

- Students who have completed a BA in 3 years may apply to the Pre-Master program. Students in their final undergraduate year may apply for admission and will be required to provide proof of graduation prior to full registration.
