Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy from KU Leuven prepares you to follow the Master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy.

Students wishing to enrol in the Master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy must follow a preparatory programme. The preparatory programme provides the necessary knowledge base for advancing on to the Master programme itself. You take five courses covering the most essential theoretical and practical components. This compulsory preparatory programme also ensures that you can already start learning Dutch, which is important during the internship in the master’s programme.

General requirements

Only students with a relevant background in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy will be considered for admission. The preparatory programme is not a bridging programme for students who have a different academic background! Students should have a solid background in at least three of the following fields:

Physiotherapy for Musculoskeletal disorders
Physiotherapy for Neurological disorders in Adults
Physiotherapy for Neurological disorders in Children
Physiotherapy for Internal Disorders
Physiotherapy in Mental Health Care
