Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification, with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA. Relaxation, where applicable, will be provided in accordance with Ahmedabad University regulations and statutory norms.

Applicants should demonstrate aptitude for quantitative reasoning, computational thinking, and scientific problem-solving. Prior knowledge of elementary mathematics and basic programming or computing is desirable.

Applicants from the following academic disciplines, but not limited to, are encouraged to apply: Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Engineering disciplines with a Quantitative Computing, Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical.
