Overview

We are seeking individuals who aspire to become managers and administrators of medical institutions with broad knowledge of related sciences, as well as experts in formulating, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based policies. Specific course participants we envision include those involved in management roles within medical institutions or in national and local government healthcare administration, those engaged in or aspiring to start a healthcare business, and those interested in education and research in healthcare management and policy.

Under the educational philosophy of Tokyo Medical and Dental University, which aims to cultivate individuals with broad general knowledge, rich humanity, high ethical standards, creativity and pioneering ability to think and solve problems independently, and international perspectives and leadership skills, the three-university consortium (Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and Hitotsubashi University) has created a curriculum consisting of lectures and seminars covering a wide range of medical management policy areas.Upon completion of this Medical Administration program, participants will be awarded a Master of Medical Administration or Master of Healthcare Policy.
