The MSc in Business Analytics is accredited by the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors (IMCA) and has been designed to meet their criteria. Students of the MSc in Business Analytics are entitled to free Graduate membership of the Institute for the duration of their course of study and for 12 months following completion. After this period they are entitled to transfer to Associate membership for a further year at a preferential rate.

For admission to the MSc in Business Analytics, candidates must hold:
An NFQ Level 8 2.1 Honours degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent international qualification.
Applications from candidates with a 2.2 may be considered in exceptional circumstances, where there is strong supporting evidence of potential to succeed in the programme. Such applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will depend on the availability of places.
