This program focuses on strategic management, marketing, governance, and leadership within the sport industry, combined with research and professional experience.
In the Fall Semester, students develop core strategic expertise through Strategic Management, Marketing, Branding, and Sponsorship, and Research Methods and Data Analysis, building a strong foundation in leadership, brand strategy, and evidence-based decision-making.
In the Spring Semester, the emphasis shifts to industry governance and performance with Governance and Sustainability, Financial Management, and Psychology of Performance and Leadership in Sport, integrating business, ethical responsibility, and athlete performance insights.
In the Summer Semester, students gain practical experience through an Internship and complete either a Professional Research Project or an Extended Professional Project, allowing them to apply strategic in real-world sport management contexts.
