Overview
Taught by experts from the Department of Interdisciplinary Humanities, it provides students with theories and frameworks drawn from a range of disciplines including, but not limited to, history, geography, political theory, sociology, screen media, sociolinguistics and cultural studies. These interdisciplinary approaches empower students to address pressing social issues such as identity politics, globalisation, technological innovation and social justice. By teaching agile thinking and creative synthesis, this MA cultivates innovative leaders capable of navigating and influencing various professional sectors, from academia and cultural institutions to public services and non-profits. General requirements
- A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree
- If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
- Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 honours in a humanities discipline. We may consider other qualifications if you can demonstrate relevant experience.
- In order to meet the academic entry requirements for this programme you should have a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme. If you are still studying you should be achieving an average of at least 60% or above in the UK marking scheme.
