Overview

Data Science and Advanced Analytics, with a specialization in Data Engineering and Scalable Technologies at Universidade Nova de Lisboa emphasizes developing skills in programming, data management and structuring, as well as implementing technological solutions that support analytical systems. This specialization prepares professionals to operate in environments demanding efficiency, scalability, and technical precision.

In every academic year, the partners offer a paid internship to the 1st year students, to be undertaken during the 2nd year. 1st year students should apply to the internship(s) they are interested in. The internship will be assigned to the student gathering the best qualification in the application.

Goals:

Designing, implementing, and managing robust data processing and transformation workflows suited to different organizational architectures
Designing and optimizing storage infrastructures, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity

Applying programming and parallel computing knowledge to deliver technically efficient, performance-oriented solutions
