Overview

Data Science and Advanced Analytics, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Systems at Universidade Nova de Lisboa explores emerging AI techniques and modern computational methods, preparing students to tackle complex problems that require sophisticated models and algorithms. This specialization is ideal for those looking to deepen their expertise in intelligent systems and innovative learning approaches.

In every academic year, the partners offer a paid internship to the 1st year students, to be undertaken during the 2nd year. 1st year students should apply to the internship(s) they are interested in. The internship will be assigned to the student gathering the best qualification in the application.

Goals:

Applying advanced artificial intelligence techniques, including emerging deep learning methods and representational models
Creating intelligent systems with adaptive, autonomous, and
AI-based components

Implementing AI solutions in advanced computing environments, including distributed architectures and specialized hardware
