The Mathematics - Economics - Flexible Work-Integrated programme from Aarhus University is jointly offered by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Economics and Business Economics, giving you access to two strong research environments. You shape your study path through electives, project work, and your master’s thesis, all with support from academic supervisors. You also become part of a vibrant student community with lectures, excursions, and social events.

Career

Graduates from the work-integrated MSc in Mathematics-Economics combine academic depth with hands-on industry experience. Many students are offered full-time employment at their workplace after graduation, while others go on to research careers or PhD studies. Graduates enjoy excellent career prospects and work in consultancy, finance, insurance, telecommunications, economic modelling, planning departments, and research, both in Denmark and internationally.
