Overview
The Professional Accounting and Finance - Extended programme offered by University of Wolverhampton will enable you to have the opportunity to study for both ACCA final level papers and an MSc at the same time, enabling you to gain both awards following an eighteen month period of study if you are successful with all assessments. The course is a collaboration between the University and Kaplan Financial limited who is one of the world’s largest providers of professional accounting education.
Key Facts
This course includes tuition and preparation for four final strategic professional level papers of the ACCA. These include two optional papers, Advanced Performance Management APM and Advanced Financial Management AFM. These are followed by two essential papers, Strategic Business Leader SBL and Strategic Business Reporting SBR. We also encourage you to self study for the ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills module.

General requirements
- A good undergraduate honours degree (preferably second class and above) in accounting which provides exemption from the first nine papers of the ACCA professional qualification from a UK university or overseas equivalent
- Or, the first nine papers of the ACCA qualification and ideally at least three years of relevant work experience. Students with less experience may be considered.
- Students may apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) subject to the guidelines set out in the UWBS RPL Handbook. RPL includes accreditation of prior certificated learning and /or accreditation of prior experiential learning.
- Please check the minimum language entry requirements before submitting your application.
- They offer a range programmes in English as a Foreign Language if you don't meet these requirements.
