The MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering includes lectures on "Nanofabrication", "Micro- and Nanotechnology", "Optical Communications" and "Microwave and Millimetre Wave Circuit Design", "Analogue CMOS circuit design", VLSI Design and CAD", all research areas undertaken in the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre.

General requirements
- 2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in any Engineering discipline, Computing Science, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics degree, with modules in Electronics and Engineering Mathematics/Mathematics at an average grade of pass.
- We exceptionally accept degrees at 2.2 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) with an average grade of 2.1 in accepted modules. Extensive work experience may be considered in addition to academic content for those that fall just below the degree requirements listed above.
- Tests must have been taken within 2 years 5 months of programme start date.
