Description
University of Glasgow can support you financially if you are admitted to one of its study programmes as an international student.
University of Glasgow awards scholarships, bursaries, tuition fee reductions and discounts that help you cover existing tuition and living costs.
Benefits
£5,000 per year of study for a maximum of 3 years
Eligibility
- Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.
- Candidates will be automatically assessed for the scholarship based on academic merit, based on their performance in their Foundation Certificate.
- The award of this scholarship is subject to satisfactory progress for consecutive years of study within their University of Glasgow degree. Students who are required to resit a year of study will no longer be eligible.
- The award will be maintained during any period of international mobility, noting the scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of three years.
- These scholarships are only open to students classed as international for tuition fee purposes and are self-funded. Students who are fully or partly sponsored are not eligible.
- These scholarships are restricted to students progressing directly from Glasgow International College to the University of Glasgow.
- These scholarships cannot be combined with any other University of Glasgow awarded scholarships.
- Eligible courses include all full-time undergraduate programmes available as pathway progression routes from Glasgow International College to the University of Glasgow.

Eligible students progressing from GIC to an undergraduate programme at the University of Glasgow will be automatically assessed for the scholarship based on academic merit. There is no separate application form required.
