- You will study artificial intelligence as a tool to investigate and understand human behavior, rather than from a purely technical or engineering perspective.

- Cross-faculty collaboration: this program combines expertise from two Tilburg University faculties. Your lecturers are leading researchers in AI, cognitive science, methodology, and statistics, guiding you in developing advanced analytical and research skills.

Part of the lectures take place in the lab facilities for robotics and avatars, serious games, natural language and data technologies, and virtual and mixed reality. This 2-year program consists of 120 credits:- 4 Psychology courses (24 ECTS)
- 7 Research Skills courses (21 ECTS)
- 3 Artificial Intelligence courses (18 ECTS)
- 2 Cognitive Science courses (12 ECTS)
- Research internship (15 ECTS)
- Project and thesis (30 ECTS): You conclude the program with an advanced interdisciplinary research project that results in a Master's thesis.

Best preparatory program is a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence; Artificial Intelligence; Data Science; Computer Science, or a related program that provided you with:
- a sufficient mathematics background;
- a broad knowledge of AI techniques;
- sufficient programming experience in Python, R, or other programming languages, with the ability to become fluent in Python and R;
- demonstrable basic knowledge of cognitive science, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics, or similar.
- You need to demonstrate proficiency in English.
