The Cognitive Neuroscience programme offered by Swansea University partnering with the Independent Studies of Science and Technology (IST) College in Greece has been designed to bridge the gap between undergraduate study and PhD research in cognitive neuroscience, experimental psychology, and imaging methods.

Key Facts

You will learn how to design, analyse, and evaluate neuroimaging experiments that contribute to our understanding of the brain mechanisms underpinning aspects of cognition and behaviour such as memory, attention, object recognition, neurodegeneration, and brain trauma.

You will get in-depth training in cognitive neuroscience research, introducing the principles of neuroimaging and gaining hands-on experience with methodology such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
