Description
The bursary is automatically awarded to eligible overseas fee-paying students whose ordinary residence has been in Nepal for the previous five years. Research degrees, postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas and professional courses are excluded.
Benefits
Undergraduate students: £6,000 tuition fee reduction in the first year.
Undergraduate students: £2,000 progression bursary in each subsequent eligible year.
Postgraduate taught students: £6,000 tuition fee reduction for the year of study.
Eligibility
- You must be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes. If your fee status changes at any point, the bursary will be withdrawn.
- You must be fully self-funding your studies.
- Your Ordinary Residence must be in Nepal.
- You must be enrolling on a full-time taught course at Swansea University.
- Your course fees must be higher than £16,000 per year to be eligible for the Nepal Bursary.
