Description
The bursary is automatically awarded to eligible students whose ordinary residence has been in Sri Lanka for the previous five years. It is available for eligible taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Benefits
£6,000 reduction in tuition fees for the first year of study, with a progression bursary of £2,000 in subsequent years.
Eligibility
- This bursary is available to new self‑funding students domiciled in Sri Lanka who are enrolling on an undergraduate course.
- You must be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes. If your fee status changes at any point, the bursary will be withdrawn.
- You must be fully self-funding your studies.
- Your Ordinary Residence must be in Sri Lanka.
- You must be enrolling on to a full-time taught course at Swansea University in the academic year.
- Your course fees must be higher than £16,000 per year to be eligible for the Sri Lanka Bursary.
