Who is this programme designed for?
This Law (Graduate Entry) - Pre-Master's Programme offered by OnCampus Ireland at University of Limerick is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in Ireland. The PMP will allow you to improve your English while learning the study skills and research methods that you will need during your Master's degree studies. All students who successfully complete the PMP are guaranteed placement on a suitable programme of postgraduate study at one of our university partners provided they meet any additional university degree-specific requirements that may also apply. You will be informed of this at the application and enrolment stages.
How will I be assessed?
Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate term and will include formative and summative assignments and other assessment tasks. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the programme and to allow you to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in Irish postgraduate programmes.

General requirements
English requirements:
- From 5.5 IELTS/CEFR B2 or equivalent, with no single element less than 5.0.
- Students will need to have a completed a bachelor's degree equivalent to an Irish NFQ Level 7 Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in relevant subjects with a minimum second-class honours grade to progress to an Irish university Master's programme. Other grades and qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Progression partners may be consulted at application stage to ensure sufficient subject relevance.
