The Human Resource Management and Talent Development is the first postgraduate qualification in these fields in Central Asia. It was developed in co-operation with the ERASMUS + TALENT project and another four European universities.

How you will study

The course involves various learning methods combining problem solving and experiential learning, highlighted by practice and the use of technology. To make studies effective and joyful, teaching and learning activities include:

• Case studies to improve students’ analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Problem-based-learning approaches to lectures, seminars and other in/out-of-class activities;

• Presentations from external speakers with industrial experience, to enable students to understand how the taught material is applied in industry;

• Team/group work to enable students to further develop their teamwork skills to work effectively in a professional environment;

• Research methods involving the use of the Learning Resource Centre and online sources to develop students’ research and analytical skills; and

• Work-based learning involving the use of students’ experiences and action learning to develop students as reflective practitioners.

The course aims to produce prospective HR managers, HR business partners, consultants, trainers as well as managers. The graduates will develop expertise on recruitment, compensation and rewards, people analytics, training and development, performance management and appraisals as well as business strategies for HR managers.
