This Health Professions Education programme from University of Dundee is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to lead and enhance education in the health professions.

Career

The course blends educational theory with real-world application. You’ll develop a strong understanding of the underlying principles of medical education. This includes learning how the field is changing to react to the demands of modern healthcare teaching.

You'll develop the knowledge and skills you need to deliver the medical curriculum more effectively. You’ll also be fully equipped to design and evaluate medical training at all levels. This means you can ensure effective development of those you are training.

A key part of this course is the simulation-based teaching at our Clinical Skills Centre. This will give you hands-on experience of using cutting-edge technology in medical education. You will be able to apply these learnings directly to your practice.

We have over 6,000 medical education graduates across the world. Many are working in influential roles within leadership and research.
