Overview

The  History (Part-Time) programme at  Northumbria University  incorporates taught modules that explore key subjects such as historical contexts and digital history, whilst examining the critical and theoretical practices that are fundamental to research. In addition to core modules, you are able to tailor your learning to your own areas of interest and career aspirations.

To demonstrate your understanding and skills you will undertake an in-depth dissertation project under the guidance of our teaching team. You will also have the unique opportunity to organise your own one-day research conference, offering you and an opportunity to share your work with staff and students within a supportive environment.
