This Law (General) LLM (Hons) from University of Dundee International College allows you to build your own personalised LLM by choosing from our wide range of specialist modules, meaning you can study areas that interest you.

Key facts

They offer a wide variety of law modules in different specialist areas. There are options in: corporate law, competition, banking, trade law, investment law, intellectual property, e-commerce, environmental law, climate change, water law, international law, human rights law, international criminal justice, international security, transnational crime.

As well as specialisms delivered by our staff, there are options in oil and gas or energy law (from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy). You can also choose from business, and politics and international relations.

Students often combine topics from different areas. For example, you might want to combine an understanding of corporate and commercial law with environmental law, or to combine an understanding of security with international criminal justice.

This wide choice allows you to develop existing areas of specialism or to expand your knowledge into new areas of law that you have not studied or practised in before.

Your Pathways

The Pre Masters Programme will prepare you for the UK, EU or US study system, giving you the confidence and skills that you’ll need to go further in your studies.

Depending on your academic qualification and English language level and chosen programme, you can study the IIM over one or two terms.

Funding

Students at the International College may be considered for a number of Scholarships that are part of the University of Dundee Scholarship offerings, such as the Global Citizenship Scholarship which awards students up to £5,000 per year of study.

Another award is the ICD Progressing with Excellence Scholarship which recognises academic achievement while studying at the International College and awards up to £6,000 per year of study.

Oxford International offers a number of scholarship opportunities for students applying for an academic course under the Core Scholarship.
