Description

The Academic Excellence Bursary is available to students who are residents in the UK and classified as an RUK fee paying students.

Benefits

The value of this Bursary is £3,000 per year of study, paid in 3 instalments over the academic year. This will usually be by the end of November 2026, February 2027 and April 2027.

Eligibility

You must:

  • Be resident in the UK and classified by the University of Dundee as an RUK (Rest of UK) Fee paying Undergraduate student.
  • Be starting your course in September 2026.
  • Studying a first Undergraduate programme (full time). This can be in any of our disciplines excluding the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Education & Social Work.
  • We define students who are “studying a first Undergraduate programme” as any student who has not transferred from another UK Higher Education Institution or who does not already have an Undergraduate degree from any University.
  • Law (Scots) - Accelerated Graduate Entry LLB and Law (Eng/NI) - Accelerated Graduate Entry LLB are also eligible for this bursary.
  • Have entry qualifications of AAB or above at A-Level.
  • If you do not have A-Levels, but meet the other criteria for the Bursary, please review our 32TUgrade equivalencies for other types of qualifications we acceptU32T. If the qualification is not listed on our grade equivalencies, this means we are not able to accept it as an alternative. If you have a combination of qualifications, these will be reviewed on an individual basis.
