Accreditation

The joint Master of Music programme at Fontys and the Maastricht Academy of Music has been accredited by the NVAO, the organization for accreditation in higher education in the Netherlands and Flanders.

Programme Structure

  • You can use your personal budget to personalize the curriculum in accordance with your artistic and professional needs. Students who wish to take lessons with artists who teach outside Fontys may use their scholarship to do so, even when the artist is based in another country. 
  • The school maintains strong connections with local concert halls and venues. Therefore, as a student you will have ample performance opportunities in the region.

General requirements

  • After your application to the Master of Music, you will be invited for an audition and an interview. The video audition forms the core of your admission to the program. In addition, all applicants must submit a personal development plan, sketching their professional plans for the upcoming years of study.
  • Only after admission to the Master of Music (so after the audition) you have to send documents like diplomas and if applicable (languages) certificates. So ignore the request of Studielink!
