Overview
The Risk and the Environment program offered at INSA Lyon focuses on the modelling of environmental flows, with the target applications being the simulation of atmospheric and aquatic environments and the design of associated infrastructures, the simulation of environmental impacts, natural hazards and technological risks impacting these environments, with the aim of training engineers who will be required to deal with these phenomena as part of engineering projects.

Delivered entirely in English, this four-semester programme combines theoretical teaching, practical laboratory work, numerical modelling and research projects. It also includes opportunities for international mobility.

Backed by a strong research dynamic, the course is based on active, collaborative teaching methods. Practical work in small groups enables students to familiarise themselves with a variety of experimental equipment.

- If you need a study visa for France, you will have to register with Campus France but this can be done after you have been given a place on the programme.
