The Mechanical Engineering (With Thesis) program at Altinbas University was established at the Graduate School Engineering and Science of Altinbas University in Istanbul in order to specialize engineers, as the need for them is increasing since only technology-oriented, competitive and productive companies can survive these days. Many companies engaged in industrial production have turned to R&D (Research and Development) activities for remaining competitive in the market.
