Overview
Thanks to a wide range of partnerships, the ST4Health Master's program offers training through research, promoting interdisciplinarity and student initiative with an international outlook. The program draws on the extremely rich and complementary expertise and know-how of PSL establishments involved in the health sector.
Teaching takes place mainly at PariSanté Campus, ESPCI Paris and partner institutions. Guest lecturers include hospital practitioners (AP-HP), researchers from other schools and universities, representatives of public institutions and private companies.
Learning outcomes
The Master ST4Health offers a program of excellence aimed at students with diverse backgrounds (physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, computer science, mathematics, medicine, pharmacy and other health sciences). The main objectives of the program are:1) Provide students with the knowledge and techniques they need to gain initial experience in a wide range of biomedical engineering fields;2) Train professionals in biomedical innovation with a multidisciplinary background, enabling them to understand and tackle health challenges in all their complexity; 3) Foster a fruitful collaborative approach to innovation projects at the interface between science, engineering and medicine.

The M1 year comprises a mandatory common core, with a choice of teaching units tailored to each student's profile and intended M2 track.
The M2 year offers three tracks:
- M2 Biomaterials & Engineering for Health (BEH)
- M2 AI & Digital Health (AIH)
- M2 Digital Mental Health (DMH)

General requirements
Apply for the 1st year (M1)
- Most Bachelor's degrees of sciences (particularly, but not restricted to, life and health sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, mechanics, mathematics, computer science), CPES PSL (Sciences Track) and equivalent foreign degrees.
Apply for the 2nd year (M2)
- Residents in medical, dental or pharmacy schools, engineering school students and ENS science students can apply directly for the second year (M2). The same conditions apply to students who have completed one year of M1 in an equivalent field. International students can also apply for M2, provided they have already obtained a Master's degree (certain exceptions are taken into account on a case-by-case basis). Prerequisites vary according to each M2 track. Students must indicate their preferred track(s) and their applications will be considered for this specific track.
