Description

Laureates will attend the 2nd year of Master of Biology, Plant Biology, or Health Engineering at Université Grenoble Alpes, and do a research internship in one of the GRAL labs in Grenoble.

In the framework of the Chemistry Biology Health (CBH) Graduate School of Université Grenoble Alpes, the GRAL research programme funds MSc (Master 2) research scholarships.

Benefits

 €5,500 paid during the 1st semester (2 instalments)

+ an internship grant (‘gratification de stage‘) during the 6-month research internship (ca. 600€ per month).

Eligibility

  • The candidates must not have studied in Grenoble for their BSc, and either have moved to Grenoble for the 1st of Master or move to Grenoble for the 2nd year of Master.
  • The candidates must be eligible to register for a 2nd year of MSc / Master degree in France.
  • The admission to a 2nd year MSc programme (M2) at Université Grenoble Alpes is fully independent of the GRAL Scholarship. Application deadlines may differ between the different programmes.
  • The scholarship is conditional to the registration to one of the above programmes of the master's degree in Biology, Plant Biology, or Health Engineering of Université Grenoble Alpes, and to the recipient maintaining a satisfactory academic record in the programme.

 A cover letter indicating the selected MSc programme at Université Grenoble Alpes, and 2 choices (ranked) for the research internship project.

A CV.

Diplomas and copies of academic transcripts for the last 2 academic years (translated to French or English if appropriate).

For non-native English speakers, level of language proficiency (e.g. TOEIC, Bulats, etc.)

One letter of recommendation.

For students applying for the first time at Université Grenoble Alpes: e-candidate portal application number.

The applications will be evaluated by a selection committee composed of representatives of the GRAL Directory and of the Master programmes.
