The Kadir Has University degree of Economics also provides the student who wish to go on to pursue a doctoral degree the essential skills for economics theory and methodology.

The Program is designed to endow students with a background in economics as specialists in private sector firms and the public sector (Central Bank, non-profit organizations, commercial banks, stock exchange and other financial intermediaries, insurance companies, and other national and international institutions).
In addition to the mandatory courses on theory and research methods, students can take elective courses offered by the MA Program in Economics, as well as those offered in other graduate programs. The Program has both thesis and non-thesis options.
