Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- Program A: On the approval of the HDR Coordinator, a candidate must complete a thesis to the value of 72 credit points (EDUC599D).
- Program B: On the approval of the HDR Coordinator, a candidate must complete units to the value of at least 72 credit points:
- course work to the value of 24 credit points: EDRM501, EDRM502 and 12 credit points of listed units in the Master of Education at 500 level, plus:
- thesis or portfolio to the value of 48 credit points (EDUC599C:48); and
- In special circumstances and with the approval of the supervisor and HDR Coordinator, a candidate may substitute another unit for a prescribed unit, where it has been deemed that the candidate has completed an equivalent unit in a previous award; and
- The examination grade of each course work unit shall be recorded on the candidate's official transcript.

You have completed one of the following qualifications with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0:- Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) in Education.
- Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline. You must also have had adequate relevant preparation since graduation.*
- Master of Education (AQF Level 9 or overseas equivalent).
