Overview
You shape your own pathway through course, selecting compelling modules from the MA in English and a combination from other specialist MAs such as the MA in Welsh Writing in English and the MA in Gender and Culture.
This could see you combine gender and humour in medieval and early modern Europe with a module on writing radio drama.
You will study a set number of optional 20-credit modules, before undertaking a 60-credit dissertation project of your choosing in the second part of the course.
Varied modules include advanced research skills in English, Welsh identities, creative non-fiction, writing radio drama, screenwriting, gender and culture, James Joyce and literary theory, and fiction and power.
