Overview
During the Public Administration - Artificial Intelligence and Governance programme from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, you will focus on governance and public policy issues from various perspectives. You actively seek ways to make public governance function better, looking at substantive solutions, methods of analysis and advice. Theory is never separate from the practice of policy, management and organisation.
Future
Digitalisation and the rise of AI is redefining traditional job profiles. The IMF calculates that, in developed economies, up to sixty percent of jobs may be affected by AI. This programme equips you with the skills needed to operate in this new algorithmic governance context. On a par with governance know-how, we build your data literacy, familiarity with innovative computational techniques, and critical engagement with data.
