It is expected that our Medical Biotechnology and Laboratory Science students should hold the following core capabilities that will be developed through the training program offered by this institute. Presently, there are four research interests in this institute, including translational cancer research and molecular diagnosis, preventive medicine examination, examination reagent research and development, and infection disease studies.

The Department of Medical Biotechnology and Laboratory Science at Chang Gung University focuses on cultivating excellent medical laboratory professionals. With its professional curriculum, abundant internship opportunities, and development in academic research, it lays a solid professional foundation for students to meet the ever-changing needs of the medical field.
