The Financial Institutions, International Finance and Risk Management Master is offered by Sapienza University of Rome. In particular, graduates in Intermediaries, International Finance and Risk Management possess a solid knowledge of mathematical-statistical and economic-business methodologies and tools, with particular regard to the techniques for evaluating investments and the value of the economic capital of companies, as well as a solid knowledge of the technical and economic characteristics of the instruments and services offered by financial intermediaries operating in the investment banking sector and of the organizational and operational characteristics of the related financial markets. Is able to apply specialized knowledge on government problems and regulation of national and international financial institutions and markets and, more generally, on the role of finance and ethical finance in economic systems at an international level; develops the knowledge necessary to design and implement complex financial transactions, which require the possession of skills in several disciplinary areas.
Programme Structure
Courses include:
- The Study Course Council determines the criteria for the recognition of credits in the event of transfer from another study course. In particular, the credits corresponding to the corresponding or equivalent SSD exams will be recognized, subject to assessment of the congruity with the degree program study plan. In the event that the student transfers between degree courses belonging to the same class, the quota of credits relating to the same scientific-disciplinary sector directly recognized to the student cannot be less than 50% of those already accrued.

General requirements
- Candidates are required to have a Master degree in Earth Sciences according to the European Qualification Framework.
- Persons that have a degree issued by non-EU universities can be admitted to the course in the case that the Scientific Educational Council recognizes it sufficient for admission.
- The course will be financed by tuition fees, contributions from ENOS project and possible donations by other public and private institutions, within their national regulations. Teacher mobility will be financed through those sources, while extra expenses for student mobility (travel, food and accommodation expenses) will be covered by each student. Between 8 and 10 students are planned and reduction of the tuition fee is planned during the ENOS project, dependable on the number of students.
