Under the umbrella of our exceptional education program, Engineering and Computer Simulation in Materials Science offered by the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» we offer a specialized focus on material science. Whether you choose the professional master's degree program (1 year 4 months) or the master of science program (1 year 9 months), our curriculum is designed to prepare you for a wide range of career opportunities in high technologies and international research centers.

At the Department of Physical Materials Science and Heat Treatment, you will dive into a comprehensive range of subjects, including:

Structural engineering of mechanical properties of new generation materials

Modern experimental methods for analyzing low-dimensional structures

Research methods and advancements in new materials

Computer modeling of metallic material structures
Thermodynamics and diffusion kinetics

Our mission is to nurture highly skilled specialists who meet global standards, capable of spearheading computer design, conducting experimental research on materials, and making advancements in biomedical engineering, military applications, criminalistics, energy-saving techniques, and nanotechnologies.
