Overview
The Conflict Regulation and Mediation study program offered by National Technical University of Ukraine: Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is all about understanding the reasons behind conflict, and how to navigate those situations towards positive resolutions. Imagine being able to help people walk away from a disagreement feeling heard, respected, and with a solution that works for everyone involved.
KPI Sociology Department offers a smorgasbord of courses for Conflict Regulation and Mediation program dealing with challenges of modernization and de-modernization, inequalities, gender based conflicts, diplomacy and negotiations, regional and ethnic conflicts, research methods, theorizing conflicts, restorative justice, psychology of conflicts, mediation techniques. Apart from a core curriculum students have an opportunity to choose from an impressively long list of electives developed by different KPI departments and covering management, history, philosophy and cultural studies. This enables students to create a unique educational trajectory for themselves.

Lecturers
6 Habilitated Doctors, 11 Doctors of Philosophy are involved in the implementation of the program. The implementation of the program ensures involvement of conflict resolution practitioners and experts in classroom activities. The participation of foreign experts and representatives of stakeholders in the educational process is also provided.
