Overview

The Wealth Management degree from University of Luxembourg was developed together with the Luxembourg financial centre, in particular the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association Private Banking Group Luxembourg (PBGL), and meets the highest international standards. It prepares students for the job market in different wealth management contexts with an emphasis on the Luxembourg financial centre.

The Master in Wealth Management is a full-time study programme and class attendance is mandatory for all students. Participation in class is graded in some of the courses.

Career opportunities

Assets under management in Luxembourg’s private banking industry have seen impressive uninterrupted growth since the 2008 financial crisis from EUR225 billion in 2008 to EUR599 billion in 2021.

Applicants need to have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (180 ECTS) in economics, finance, business or management. Students with a bachelor in law, mathematics or IT can also be considered if they have at least 3 years of professional experience in finance.
All non-English native speaking applicants need to be able to demonstrate proficiency of English at B2 level.
