Overview
The Arts and Culture MA programme offered at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is characterised by a broad focus on various domains of the cultural sector.
Key Facts
Here you will take courses in specialisations that are in line with developments in art, media, creative industry and design. While some specialisations place current affairs in a historical perspective, others deal explicitly with the contemporary context of art, culture and media. In our programmes you will learn more about history, theory, analysis, the many interrelationships and you will become acquainted with the research of the staff, but also with research projects in all kinds of cultural institutions and companies.
