Key Facts and Aims
- University of Ulsan's Police Science major aims to educate future police officers to protect the lives and property of the people and to maintain public welfare and order.
- The major offers systematically well-formed lectures which enable students to understand the basic theories of police, law, and criminal justice. The faculty includes full-time professors, visiting professors, and various working-level professors in the community who majored in police, law, and criminology. Our major currently runs a field practice program jointly with Ulsan Nambu Police Station.
- This program provides students an opportunity to experience crime environments surrounding local communities. Overall classes and programs are prepared to enhance theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students.

General requirements
- You and both your parents must have foreign citizenship.
- Not eligible if you or any of your parents hold Korean dual-citizenship.
- Taiwanese applicants are eligible even if one of the parents holds Korean citizenship.
- You must hold a foreign citizenship (not Korean dual-citizenship) and must have completed or expect to complete all your primary and secondary education (equivalent to Year 12 qualification in Korea) fully outside of Korea.
- Master’s or Combined program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
